In April 2016, The Parkhill Group, based in Shropshire, approached the Directors of Orbit Pharmaceutical Equipment Limited. Orbit, a company based in Staffordshire, specialised in the procurement, remanufacture and sales of pre-owned pharmaceutical equipment.

The CEO of the Parkhill Group, Sam Cornes is an entrepreneur with considerable and varied business experience, who takes an interest in opportunities from top to bottom His current interests are based in property development, property rental, mental health secure transport and mineral extraction as well as brownfield site reclamation.

In June 2016, The Parkhill Group completed the successful acquisition of Orbit and amalgamated it into a new company called Poseidon Pharmaceutical UK Limited.

Poseidon moved to one of its group companies commercial units at their business park in Telford Shropshire and started the process of refitting the 12500-square foot unit to a bespoke specification.

Today, the company has offices, workshops, showroom, test areas and stores areas to fulfil its day to day business needs of procuring, and remanufacture high quality used pharmaceutical equipment. Investment continues to increase the capabilities and wide range of equipment to offer the solutions to the pharmaceutical industry

The team is also expanding and other opportunities are being considered for launch in the coming months.
